    Today's tour starts from Tian'anmen Square and Forbidden City. Countless tourists from all over the world come here every year to see for themselves the magnificent imperial palaces glimpsed in movies such as “The Last Emperor”. For many, this experience itself is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. After lunch, visit Temple of Heaven where the emperor went every year to humble himself in prayer to assure a good harvest for his people.     Day 3 Beijing

    After a Western and Chinese buffet breakfast at your hotel, you will have a half day excursion to Great Wall, another absolutely unforgettable experience. After lunch, we will arrange a visit to Jade Museum where you will learn about the importance of jade in Chinese culture, and where you will also be able to buy some souvenirs of your trip. After that, take a stroll on the grounds of the site of the 2008 Olympics, and view Beijing National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) and National Swimming Center (Water Cube) from outside.

    Day 4Beijing/Xi’an

    The first destination after breakfast today will be Summer Palace, now a popular park for people of Beijing, you will enjoy seeing young families, retirees, in fact, all ages, singing, dancing, playing games and generally enjoying life. Next you will have a wonderful shopping and educational experience at a pearl factory store. Then you will have a special tour by bicycle rickshaw of the Hutong, distinctive traditional housing areas. After lunch, you will take a domestic fight to Xi’an, capital of Shaanxi Province. You will be met at the airport by your own excellent English speaking tour guide and transported by private car to your hotel.

  • Miraculous Terra - Cotta Army

    Day 5Xi’an

    First-time visitors to the Museum of Qin Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses are often awe-struck to be suddenly face-to-face with the people of China from over 2,000 years ago. This morning, you will be there for yet another unforgettable experience. Following this encounter with history, we will visit the nearby factory workshop, where authorized reproductions of the terracotta warriors and horses in various sizes are available for purchase. After lunch, we will drive back to downtown Xi’an and climb up to the ramparts of the ancient City Wall, the best preserved city wall in all China. This day of amazing sights and experiences will be capped by one of Xi’an’s famous dumpling banquets and a splendid Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show.

  • A rare silence among hustles and bustles

    Day 6Xi’an

    You will visit the Shaanxi History Museum which houses numerous relics found in this province, and then tour the North and South Squares of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Alternatively, you can choose to visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and the Xi’an Museum. After lunch, you will visit Gao’s Courtyard (Bangyan Mansion), a typical local residence with a history of over 400 years. You will also watch a local folk art Shadow Play inside. You will also want to stroll around the old Muslim Quarter, where you will find many speciality food stalls and shops, then walk to the Bell and Drum Tower square.

    Day 7Xi’an/Hangzhou

    After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Hangzhou. Upon arrival, your private English-speaking tour guide and private vehicle will take you to your hotel in downtown Hangzhou, perfectly located for an exploratory walk whenever you have a few minutes. In the afternoon, you will take a boat trip on the legendary, beautiful and placid West Lake. You will also visit the Tea Museum on a tea farm for an enjoyable and educational tea tasting.

    Day 8Hangzhou/Wuzhen/Suzhou

    After breakfast, we will drive you to fascinating Wuzhen, a very old and picturesque water town which is often compared to Venice. After lunch, you will continue by car to Suzhou where you will have a leisurely walk along Ancient Canal, the longest manmade canal in the world. On your walk, you may choose to turn into Pingjiang Road, bordering a side canal and now featuring upscale restaurants among its ancient shops and dwellings.

  • Humber Administrator’s Garden

    Day 9Suzhou

    The first destination will be Suzhou Museum which was designed by the world-famous Chinese-American architect I. M. Pei. Then visit The No. 1 Silk Factory where you will witness the entire process of silk production from silkworm to finished garment product. After lunch, visit Humble Administrator's Garden and Lingering Garden, probably the best known of the classical gardens of Suzhou that are collectively designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The gardens are celebrated for the exquisite beauty of their buildings and garden designs, as well as the garden plantings.

    Day 10Suzhou-Shanghai

    After breakfast, you will board the high speed train to legendary and dynamic Shanghai. Upon arrival your tour guide will take you to visit Shanghai Museum (features a wonderful collection of Chinese art, including ancient Chinese bronzes, sculpture, ceramics, jades, paintings, calligraphy, seals, stamps, furniture, and a large selection of crafts by ethnic "minorities"), after lunch, walk around People’s Square and transfer to Xintiandi Pedestrian Shopping District. Later boarding SKY at Shanghai International Cruise Harbour. Departing around 21:00 pm and sailing for Chong Qing. You can come to sun deck to enjoy the scenes of the Shanghai Bund, The Universal Expo of architectures, the Oriental Pearl Tower and Lujiazui finance and trade zone. You can’t miss it for it is worth it.

  • Night cruise in Huangpu River

    Day 11Taizhou

    After breakfast, you’ll join the Excursion: Taizhou Day Trip includes Ancient City Wall + Tower & Gardens visiting + Lunch at the Ancient Town + Fengcheng River smaller boat tour. Around 15:30 back to the cruise for onwards cruise itinerary . Taizhou is a prefecture-level city in central Jiangsu Province in eastern China. Situated on the north bank of the Yangtze River, it borders Yangzhou to the west.Hu Jintao, former President of the Communist Party of China considered Taizhou his home town as did Mei Lanfang, one of the most famous Peking opera artists in modern Chinese history. Century SKY sets sail to Chongqing after you come back from the excursion. Either leave yourself in the library, gym, bar or enjoy the reading and relaxing in somewhere onboard. Of course you could join the variety of onboard activities! After enjoy dinner onboard, The Crew Cabaret Show will be performed.

  • Confucius Temple

    Day 12Chizhou

    After breakfast around 09:00am, you will join a shore excursion to Xinghuacun Village Ancient Town. The excursion takes about 3.5 hours. According to historical records, Xinghuacun was a beautiful village full of apricot trees, located in the west of Chizhou city. The village was dotted with liquor breweries and stores and liquor buyers were crowded here, thus here was always a scene of bustle and excitement. From AD 844 to 846 (From the 4th to 6th years of Huichang in Tang Dynasty), the great poet Du Mu who served as the governor of Chizhou wrote a poem named "Qingming" after he traveled Xinghuacun in Spring. The poem chanted the fascinating scene of Jiangnan (the area at the southern bank of the Yangtze River) during Qingming Festival (also known as Tomb Sweeping Day). The charming blossoms, mild rain and attractive liquor are all described in the poem. Thanks to the poem, Xinghuacun enjoys an immortal and world-wide fame. Today, Xinghuacun is not only a symbol of traditional Chinese poetry, but also the city's symbolized cultural brand that is equally famous with Jiuhua Mountain and a significant part of the South Anhui International Cultural Tourism Demonstration Area. Or you will join the optional a day shore excursion to Mt. Jiuhua. The excursion takes about 5 hours. Mt. Jiuhua (“Mountain of the Nine Lotuses”)- Located in south central Anhui Province, Jiuhuas Shan or “Mountain Jiuhua” is one of the four sacred mountains in Chinese Buddhism. Local climate is favorable, making it a popular summer resort. Observant Buddhist make a pilgrimage to climb Greater Tiantai peak, regarded as Jiuhuashan ’ s most important, although not the tallest. The construction of temples began in the Tang Dynasty and was enlarged in subsequent dynasties. The Buddhist influence still remains to this day throughout this area. Upon return to your Ship Century SKY enjoy dinner.

  • Girls beside Lesser Three Gorges

    Day 13Jiujiang

    After breakfast, enjoy a bus tour to the famous Shizhong Mountain.Lunch is served after came back from the shore excursion forward with some onboard activities. Shizhong Mountain has a long history and is the most renowned mountain among those that can produce fantastic sound in China. Due to the plentiful gaps between the rocks, the streams hit onto the rocks and makes amazing sounds like coming from a bell – that's why it is named after Shizhong (rock bell). For the characteristic feature, it has been put on the list of World Cultural Landscapes by the United Nations. From the peak of the mountain, views stretch over the Poyang Lake and the Yangtze River as well as the vast rural landscape that stretches like a chessboard over the horizon. Or you could join the optional bus tour to Jingdezhen [a day tour of about 9 hours & lunch at the tour site], Porcelain Capital of China. the single side drive is nearly 2 hours. During the tour, you can visit the manual antique porcelain factory, ancient kiln porcelain yard and ceramic Expo area where you can see the whole process of hand-made porcelain and browser the exhibition of the historical customs and ceramic relics of Jingdezhen. After the Scenic spot lunch (Table dinner, ten people /table), stroll the China ceramic city, where you can see different levels of Jingdezhen porcelain.

    Day 14Wuhan

    After breakfast, a tour to the Hubei Provincial Museum(about 1.5hours), one of top ten museums in China . It has collected over 200,000 cultural relics. Then tour to the East Lake Scenic Area, the largest downtown lake of China. East Lake is known as the ninety-nine Bay for its twists and turns along the lakeshore. Embracing the largest cherry flower park of China and the largest plum flower garden of south region Yangtze River. Century SKY sets sail to Chongqing after you come back from the excursion.     Day 15Jingzhou

    After breakfast, you will have the shore excursion to Jingzhou Ancient City Wall, the best preserved southern wall in China. Also, you’ll visit Jingzhou Museum. In the Museum, there has many precious cultural relics that can be regarded as national treasures, such as the Chu and Qin Han lacquer which accounts for three fifths of the national total Chu and Qin Han lacquer number, as well as the ancient corpse of Ancient Chinese Han dynasty, the earliest and unique relics in the world (the whole tour will cost about 3.5hours).

  • Day 16Yichang - Three Gorges Dam

    After an early breakfast, either join in the optional shore excursion to the historical and cultural site of Three Gorges Tribe or at your leisure onboard. After lunch, you will join the shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam Site, which is the largest water conservancy project in the world.(about 3 hours) You can climb up to the Jar mountain view scenic spot to overlook the dam panoramic view. After dinner, you will continue cruising in direction to Three Gorges Dam Side through 5-step ship locks, the tour guide will tell you the relevant information about the level 5 locks of the three gorges

  • Day 17Wushan County

    After breakfast, you will have the excursion at the Shennv Stream(about 3 hours), changing from your Century SKY into a smaller boat. The Shennv Stream is a stream between the Qingshi town and the Feifeng peak, with 15 kilometers long. Because of the turbulence of the water and the narrow stream, there are 10 kilometers as remote valley. After the dam's three phase of storage, tourists can go deep into the depths of the gorge to explore, then surprised see beautiful scenery and the original inhabitants. Upon return to your Ship Century SKY sails through the natural beauty of the Wu Gorge and Qutang Gorge, the tour guide introduces the unique scenery of the two banks on the sunshine deck. After lunch, either join in the optional shore excursion to the historical and cultural site of White Emperor City or at your leisure onboard. After enjoy dinner onboard, you’ll be welcomed to the Lounge to enjoy Waltz.

  • Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall

    Day 18Zhongxian County

    After breakfast, taking excursion at Shi Baozhai Pagoda(about 2.5 hours), which called the "small Penglai Island" on Yangtze River. If you enter the Pagoda and look down from it, you can have a panoramic view of the infinite scenery – the rolling the Yangtze River, blue sky, the sail shadow and so on. After lunch, join the various activities onboard. And a brief introduction of disembarkation will be held in the bar. After dinner, The farewell dancing party or talent show will bring you more fun of the night on the Yangtze.

  • Day 19Chongqing/Guilin

    After an early breakfast onboard Century Sky. Guests will disembark around 08:30am from Chongqing Harbour. Your Century Sky itinerary ends here and you will be transferred to the airport for your domestic flight to Guilin. Upon arrival in Guilin, we will transfer you to the hotel.

  • Day 20Guilin-Yangshuo

    The first activity today is to enjoy the best section of scenery of Li River by boat from Guilin to Yangshuo. After lunch, take a walk or have a bike tour along Yulong River, and enjoy a pleasant stroll along Yangshuo’s West Street. After dinner, you will watch one of the most stunning and memorable performances you have ever experienced - “Impression Liu Sanjie”. The cast consists of over 500 people, and almost all of them nonprofessional local people, along many fishing boats and cormorants. The lighting effects are dramatic, using the surrounding karst mountains to full effect, and allowing a line of singers to appear as if by magic on the water!

  • Day 21Yangshuo-Guilin

    A deluxe private car will take you back to Guilin this morning. Once in Guilin, your first destination will be the city’s landmark, Elephant Trunk Hill. After lunch, you will visit Reed Flute Cave which offers a majestic fairyland of karst caves with landscape and rural scenery, and Seven Star Park. The Great Waterfalls show, which has been noted by the World Guinness Book of Records, will be presented in Lijiang Waterfall Hotel.

  • Day 22Guilin/Guangzhou

    Besides the shore excursions along the Yangtze River, you can also enjoy the welcome parties, Chinese Finger Boxing, cultural programs and dancing and movies. You may also go to the spa for a massage, or join your new friends for socializing and dancing. Meanwhile, most ships have facilities such as tennis courts, movie theatres, game rooms, card rooms, and libraries.

    It's about 40 miles from Sanxia airport to Yichang city. It takes about 45 mins by taxi or 1 hour by bus.
