I already know Turpan is famous for vineyards, and very hot. So i wanna have a trip in the Turpan valley, then on the way back visit Dunhang. Could you tell me the places difficult to travel in Dec. ?

Answered by travel consultant from CTCN

    Aug 04 , 2016 10:03

Dear Sir, first, you should know that the best season to visit Turpan vineyards is in the Summer or the Autumn, and the valley is bleak in the Winter time. As you mentioned, your visit to Turpan and Dunhang in December, it will be a little cold and the road will be blocked if there is heavy snow or rain. Thus, your visit will be a hard journey. Is there any possibility to postpone your travel date to next year, saying May, next year?

Sorry to tell you it will be very cold traveling there in December, you’d better choose another time, May to October should be a great time for a visit. Caused lots of hotel will close during travel low reason for maintenance and not heated service available due to the insufficient booking.
