    Day 1Arrive in Beijing

    Upon arrival at the airport, your exclusive English-speaking tour guide will be waiting for you at the international arrival hall. After meeting with the guide, you and your luggage will be transferred to your hotel by private bus for a good rest.

  • Grand Temple of Heaven

    Day 2Beijing

    After buffet breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer you to feel the glory of Tian'anmen Square and the magnificence of Forbidden City. A place could be just historic, or only extremely beautiful, or merely iconic, but Forbidden City is all three. After lunch, visit Temple of Heaven where the emperor went every year to humble himself in prayer to assure a good harvest for his people. Then you will take an interesting visit to Hutong by rickshaw. Hutong is like an encyclopedia that reflects not only history but also social customs of Beijing. Local flavored Roast Duck will be offered for dinner. The last activity today is watching a famous Kongfu Show at Shicha Lake Theater.

  • Winding Great Wall along the mountain

    Day 3Beijing

    After a Western and Chinese buffet breakfast at your hotel, you will have a half day excursion to Great Wall, another absolutely unforgettable experience. After lunch, we will arrange a visit to the Jade Museum where you will learn about the importance of jade in Chinese culture, and where you will also be able to buy some souvenirs for your trip. After that, you will have an exterior view of Beijing National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) and National Swimming Center (Water Cube). Dinner will be on your own to try some local flavor.

  • Hundreds of wind power machines whirl with wind

    Day 4Beijing/Urumqi

    Enjoy a buffet breakfast in the hotel. Later start for Summer Palace, which is the most important center for political and diplomatic activities besides Forbidden City in late Qing Dynasty. After that, you will enjoy yourself in a pearl store. In the afternoon, take a domestic flight to Urumqi (about 4 hours’ flight). Upon arrival, your private English-speaking tour guide will pick you up at the domestic arrival hall and transfer you to hotel.

    The destinations today include Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Museum and Heavenly Lake of Tian Shan in the morning, and the International Bazaar in the afternoon, where you will have some free time to explore the folk custom there .

    Day 6Urumqi/Turpan

    After breakfast, we will proceed to Turpan, which is nicknamed “Fire Island”. On the way, you can appreciate Salt Lake and Dabancheng Wind Power Plant, the biggest wind power plant in Asia. Lunch will be in a handpicked local restaurant. In the afternoon, pay a visit to Grape Valley and Gaochang Ruins by donkey cart as well as Karez Well. In the evening, you can enjoy a unique Uygur folk performance. With beautiful songs and dances, pretty girls along with delicious grapes under the moonlight shining through the grape trellis, you will surely have an amazing and unforgettable evening!

  • Sceneries in Thousand-Buddha Cave

    Day 7Turpan/Urumqi/Dunhuang

    The first destination today is Thousand-Buddha Cave. After lunch, you will proceed to visit Jiaohe Ruins in the afternoon. And then come back to Urumqi by our private vehicle and take a domestic flight to Dunhuang. Upon arrival, your private English-speaking tour guide will pick you up at the domestic arrival hall and transfer you to hotel.

    After breakfast at hotel, start for the famous Mogao Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Centre, which is a culture and art hall that integrates architecture, painted sculpture and murals. In the afternoon, we will proceed to tour around Echoing-sand Mountain and Crescent Spring where you can enjoy a wonderful camel trip and have a good time there.

    Day 9Dunhuang/Xi’an

    After tasty breakfast, take a domestic flight to Xi’an, ancient capital city in Shaanxi Province. Upon arrival, your private English-speaking tour guide will pick you up and transfer you to hotel. After lunch, you will be taken to visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the elegant North Square (site of the Musical Fountain), stroll around the Bell and Drum Tower Square in downtown and last have your leisure time around Muslim Quarter, where you will find many specialty food stalls and shops.

    Day 10Xi’an

    First-time visitors to Museum of Qin Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses are often awe-struck to be suddenly face-to-face with the people of China from over 2,000 years ago. This morning, you will be there for yet another unforgettable experience. Following this encounter with history, we will visit the nearby factory workshop, where authorized reproductions of the terracotta warriors and horses in various sizes are available for purchase. After lunch, we will drive back to downtown Xi’an and climb up to the ramparts of the ancient City Wall, the best preserved city wall in all China. This day of amazing sights and experiences will be capped by one of Xi’an’s famous dumpling banquets and a splendid Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show.

Shanghai combines the vitality and energy of New York with the sense of history you feel in a city like Paris - in fact many visitors compare it to both these cities. You will be struck by the graceful sweep of The Bund in “old” Shanghai with its busy boulevard and pedestrian promenades along Huangpu River, and across the river, you will be amazed by the many dramatic new skyscrapers along Binjiang Avenue in the new Pudong District. Return to the hotel for a rest and a free evening for your choice of a dinner according to your own preferences.

M.Pei as its designer, followed by a visit to The No. 1 Silk Factory. After lunch we will proceed to visit Lingering Garden, one of the most famous in Suzhou’s classical gardens. Then come back to Shanghai. After a local flavored dinner, you will enjoy an acrobatics show at Portman Ritz Carlton Hotel, Shanghai.

After lunch, we will make a tour to  Xintiandi Pedestrian Shopping District and Town God's Temple. Besides, we will cruise Huangpu River and appreciate the appealing scenery on both sides of the river, The Bund and Lujiazui area in the evening.

    I will visit Shanghai for the first time, could you tell me the way to Salvo Hotel (ShiFuHuiDaJiuDian) from Hongqiao International Airport?

    Upon your arrival at the airport, you can take the Line 2 to Nanjing East Road, the hotel is just near the subway station of Nanjing East Road, and you can get there within 5 minutes’ walk, you will not miss it! A nice trip!
